Today’s edition of the Pennsylvania Bulletin includes final notice of the fee schedule rates and department-established fees for the PA Intellectual Disability service system. No increases were enacted from the proposed rates, and this marks the fifth consecutive year of virtually flat funding under the fee schedule. The fee schedule determines reimbursement for all non-residential services, as well as the tenancy-related costs associated with residential care.
The full notice can be viewed at:
Service providers now have a thirty-day window commencing with the publication of this notice to file appeals.
The Department of Human Services will soon be announcing residential rates for its forthcoming fee schedule affecting all community residential supports. These rates were previously expected to be announced in December 2016, but it is now anticipated that they will be disseminated during the first quarter of 2017. The residential fee schedule will not become effective until 2018.
